For students newly admitted to our university, the Arabic Preparatory Class Exemption Examination for the 2025–2026 Academic Year will consist of two stages. The written examination will be held face-to-face on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., and the oral examination will be held face-to-face on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.

The classrooms where the examinations will take place will be determined by our department and announced on the official website. Please follow the web page of the Department of Arabic Translation and Interpreting for updates regarding the examination venues.

• Participation in the exemption examination is optional. Attendance is not compulsory; however, students who wish to take the examination must be present at the examination venue on the specified date and time.
• Following the completion of the examinations and the evaluation process, the list of students who are considered “exempt” will be announced on our department’s webpage.
