As part of its promotional activities, the Undergraduate Program in Arabic Translation and Interpreting, which will admit students for the first time in the 2025–2026 academic year, visited Şehit Mustafa Yaman Anatolian Imam Hatip High School (Science and Social Sciences Project School).

During the event, attended by our department faculty members, our Head of Department, Ersin Çilek, delivered a presentation providing detailed information about both the department and our university. Students were informed about the importance of learning Arabic, the career opportunities offered by the translation profession, and the academic structure of the program. In addition, detailed information was shared regarding opportunities to improve Arabic language proficiency, international exchange programs, and sectoral collaborations.

The Undergraduate Program in Arabic Translation and Interpreting aims to educate qualified translators proficient in the Arabic language and to make effective contributions at both national and international levels.

The promotional activities will continue through events organized at different schools.
