The event titled “Arabic in the Career World: Opportunities and Possibilities”, organized by the Milat Club, was held with strong participation from students. Ersin Çilek, Head of the Department of Arabic Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Letters, participated in the event as the guest speaker.

The event took place on December 11, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in Hall ED-Z-19 of the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Classroom Building at the Faculty of Letters. During the event, the role of the Arabic language in today’s career fields and the professional opportunities it offers were discussed.

In addition, the event focused on important considerations for students of the Department of Arabic Translation and Interpreting regarding post-graduation career planning, areas of specialization, and the importance of foreign language proficiency in professional life. Students were informed through examples based on academic and sectoral experiences and had the opportunity to ask questions about their future career journeys.
